John T. Louis, M.D., F.A.C.S. graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors Degree of Architecture and Environmental Design; he continued his education pursuing a medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch. Upon completion of Medical School he attended Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia to complete his five year residency in general surgery. Dr. Louis continued his medical education in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the renowned Medical College of Georgia with a concentrated study of cosmetic, hand, micro-vascular, and pediatric plastic surgery.
Dr. Louis was in a private cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practice in Pennsylvania before relocating to Florida in June of 2006 with his wife and three children. Dr. Louis is Board Certified in General Surgery as well as Board Certified in Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, and The Plastic Surgeon Educational Foundation.
Dr. Louis is dedicated to utilizing the unique skills acquired during his studies in architecture and plastic surgery to improve the lives of patients afflicted with congenital deformities, patients who have suffered disfigurement as a result of traumatic injuries as well as those seeking to improve their overall look and appearance through the use of cosmetic surgery.
